About

Since starting the Penitent Soldiers of Mary in February of 2022, we have witnessed an “explosion of grace” with miraculous conversions, healings, and freedom from spiritual affliction. Members of our family trees and beyond are being beautifully transformed. Loved ones are being drawn back to the Sacramental life of the Catholic Church.

The Penitent Soldiers of Mary live under a communal rule of life to imitate holiness and pray in the Spirit for the healing and liberation of souls.  This includes people of all ages and those facing addiction.

Penitent Soldiers are uniquely devoted to the interior life, while proclaiming, teaching, and living the truths of the Catholic Faith. Steeped in tradition and reverence, the Penitent Soldiers of Mary dutifully present individuals to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary to build up the kingdom of God.

My brother, Rudy, came to see Deacon Tom and me for healing prayer in January 2023. He also attended one of our Penitent Soldiers of Mary monthly healing services at St. Gilbert and returned to the sacrament of confession for the first time in over 23 years. After 3 consecutive days of healing prayer and receiving the sacrament of confession, he received a lot of spiritual and emotional healing. He returned to Texas and had the grace to meet with the Archdiocesan tribunal about obtaining an annulment from a marriage that had ended back in 2000. Within 7 months of submitting his annulment paperwork, he received approval of his annulment. Rudy has shared that his receipt of this healing prayer has truly changed his life for the better. He is now feeling drawn to go to adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and attend mass more than once a week. It has brought him a lot of peace and strength as he continues to face the many trials of life including the loss of several close family members and friends. When your focus is on Christ, you can handle anything!

I had also been away from the Catholic Church (firmly Protestant) for more than 30 years. My first night there, I attended the monthly Eucharistic Healing Service led by the Penitent Soldiers of Mary, and the Lord spoke to me clearly, directing me back to the sacrament of Confession. Throughout the week, He also beautifully revealed the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, and helped me to understand that the sacraments of the Church are gifts of grace offered to heal and nurture and sustain us on the journey of faith. My last night there, I attended a weekly Holy Hour with the Penitent Soldiers of Mary, and the Lord began to heal me physically. He also told me to continue Communion & Confession at home, and that He would continue healing me gradually as I received. Now, I am happy to report that this is exactly what God did! It has been more than a year, and I am miraculously well in body, soul, and spirit. There are still crosses to bear, but Jesus has brought healing and freedom to my entire being, and restored my trust in His Heart. I am so grateful for the “explosions of grace” in my life, and I look forward to joining the Penitent Soldiers of Mary in praying for the healing and liberation of other souls, that all God’s children may know His Love and Mercy!
