From the beginning of creation, Satan
…and his kingdom have seduced mankind, constantly sowing division between human beings and God, and with one another. Unfortunately, most people in our modern culture either totally dismiss or fail to recognize this spiritual battle. This lack of engagement against our common enemy has precipitated an indifference to Christ and the Sacramental life of the Catholic Church, which places the souls of our loved ones and friends in grave danger. This dramatic situation of the whole world, which is in the power of the evil one, makes man's life a battle: The whole of man's history has been the story of our combat with the powers of evil, stretching, so our Lord tells us, from the very dawn of history until the last day.”
- Catechism of the Catholic Church, 409

Jesus says, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me”
Matthew 16:24
This degree of obedience and self-sacrificial love is demanding, but it is the surest path to eternal life. It is an inescapable reality of our time that requires us to embrace suffering, strengthened by the promise of the Apostle James.
“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him”
James 1:12
Join the fight! Enlist today as a Penitent Soldier of Mary. Join our lay apostolate by living a Rule of Life, growing in holiness and virtue, and interceding for the healing, conversion, and liberation of souls.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”
Ephesians 6:12

St. Louis de Monfort
“Mary will raise up apostles of the latter times to make war against the evil one. . . .But the power of Mary over all the devils will especially shine forth in the latter times, when Satan will lay his snares against her heel: that is to say, her humble slaves and her poor children, whom she will raise up to make war against him.
They shall be little and poor in the world's esteem, and abased before all like the heel, trodden underfoot and persecuted as the heel is by the other members of the body. But in return for this they shall be rich in the grace of God, which Mary shall distribute to them abundantly. They shall be great and exalted before God in sanctity, superior to all creatures by their lively zeal, and so well sustained by God’s assistance that, with the humility of their heel, in union with Mary, they shall crush the head of the devil and bring about the triumph of Jesus Christ.”
